Meet our School Horses one by one! |
 |
Surfie "Surf n Sands" Surfie is a 27
year old Welsh/Arab Cross. He has shown many years
including the A circuit and now dutifully takes care of our
youngest riders and enjoys the trails. |
 |
Sparkle "Stars and Stripes" Sparkle was born on the 4th of
July, so he had to have a festive name. While he was
only foaled in 2002, he is very mature for his age. He
loves the lesson program and going to horse shows. This
talented little Welsh pony even gets his flying lead changes. |
 |
Major Major, on the left, is a retired foxhunter Thoroughbred at the age
of 22. He loves to walk on the trails and enjoys his
job in life. |
 |
Al "My Pal Al" We cannot say enough good things about Al.
He will pack anyone around the ring. He is a very
trusty steed in his early 20s. He loves to jump and
march around a 2' course. He will even pop a lead change if you
are
lucky. Be careful, if you take him on a trail he
usually picks a favorite bush to back into to get the
perfect scratch.
|
 |
Carmen "Carmel Apple" At 18 years old, she is still sweet
and sticky. Carmen is a jack of all trades and loves
to do her job. She does it all from beginners to 2'
and loves her treats especially her peppermints.
Carmen is a registered Quarter Horse. |
 |
Lil "My Little Pony" Lil is only 6 years old, and just
an adorable Welsh Pony. We have owned her since she
was 6 months old and brought her up every step of the way.
She loves to horse show, trail ride, jump any jump, and still
takes care of our little youth riders. |
 |
Pumpkin "Pumpkin Patch" In her late teens, Pumpkin is a
barn favorite. Luckily her owners share her with us
and all the luckiest kids get to ride her. Pumpkin
leads the youth kids up to the advanced beginners. |
 |
Elvis "Rock n Roll" Elvis is another Welsh/Arab cross and we hope
he turns out to be another Surfie. He is very kind and
while young, he is very good to his riders. While more
on the sensitive side, at 6 years old, Elvis is a real
trooper. |
 |
Secret "Secret Surprise" Secret is a 9 year old
TB/Connemara cross. She has the best jump you have seen and
in fact it will surprise you, hence her name. She is
going to be a favorite with her golden coloring. She
is sure to win many ribbons. |
 |
Winston
A nice heavy Thoroughbred, Winston carries many adult
riders on the trail or in our beginner lessons. |
 |
Essie "Something Essential" Essie is a large pony tri colored
paint. In her early 20's, she still gives a great ride either
on the trail or in the ring. Essie takes great care of our
youth riders and loves to jump a nice cross rail. |
|
|
Shooter "After Hours" Shooter is a large off the track TB.
He stands about 16.3 hands tall and is for our adult beginner
riders. He is like a large teddy bear, sweet and cuddley! |
|
|
Spot "In the Spotlite" Spot is a registered
Pinto, with Grey Spots on his grey coat. He is very unique and
takes care of our riders of all ages. We are lucky to have
such a nice horse in our program. |
