2019 Summer Camps

Summer is just around the corner and its time to start thinking about summer camps for the riders in your family

BEGINNER CAMPS – Open to riders ages 7 and up. Camp will run 9 am – 4 pm and will focus on horse care and basic riding skills. Each day will include a riding lesson, a theory lesson, and lunch by the pool, swimming, and helping in the barn. $375 per rider.

Beginner Camp 1:  June 24th – 28th
Beginner Camp 2:  July 8th – 12th
Beginner Camp 3:  July 22nd – 26th
Beginner Camp 4:  Aug. 19th – 23th (8am – 3pm)

INTERMEDIATE CAMPS – Open to riders ages 9 and up who are comfortably walk/trot/cantering and jumping. Camp will run 9 am – 4pm. Each day will include a riding lesson, a theory lesson, and lunch by the pool, swimming, and helping in the barn. $375 per rider.

Intermediate Camp 1:  July 15th – 19th
Intermediate Camp 2:  Aug. 12th – 16th

JAMES CITY COUNTY HORSE CARE CAMPS – Riders must sign up for this special camp through James City County Parks and Recreation in order to attend this camp. Open to children ages 9 and up to be held from 8 am to 1 pm. Camp is designed for students to learn the daily routine of feeding, handling and barn chores in a large boarding and lesson barn. After taking care of the horses each morning students will have a group riding lesson.  Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes, and bring water bottles and lunch each day.  James City County link for registration: James City County Online Registration

James City County Horse Care Camp 2:  Aug. 5th – 7th
