Tara Best directs the Stonehouse Stables hunter horse and pony training program. Training rides and professional show riding are offered.
Tara loves to train young prospects. The picture to your left is Tara starting Daisy (Dear Prudence) over fences when she was only a few months off the track. As you can tell by the smile on Tara’s face, Daisy is learning to enjoy her job.
Training Ride Program
Per Ride: $40
Show Day Rides are $35 per day
Monthly Training Programs:
2 Training Rides a week is $300
Full Training Board is $600.00 per month in addition to board.
Note: Stonehouse Stables does not accept horses or ponies for training that have not already been started under saddle. We reserve the right to refuse training when any animal is judged to be unsafe.
